Latest IAF AFCAT 02/2022 Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2022 PDF – Indian Air Force (IAF) has released exam pattern/ scheme and syllabus for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 02 for the year 2022. Through this examination Indian Air Force will fill up 283 vacancies of Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branches. Indian Air Force has announced date for AFCAT 02/2022. As per the announcement, the exam will be conducted on 26.08.2022/ 27.08.2022/ 28.08.2022. IAF AFCAT 02/2022 Selection process involves Written Examination and SSB Interview. Written Examination comprises questions from the subjects of General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) comprises questions from the subjects of Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics.

Written Test Pattern:-
- Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)
- Objective Type Test (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Questions will be in English.
- General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test.
- Total Questions – 100.
- Total Marks – 300.
- Total time duration – 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
- Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT)
- Objective Type Test (Multiple Choice Questions).
- Questions will be in English.
- Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics.
- Total Questions – 50.
- Total marks – 150.
- Total time duration – 45 minutes.

Written Test Syllabus:-
- English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion/ Filling in of correct word, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary, Idioms and Phrases.
- General Awareness – History, Geography, Civics, Politics, Current Affairs, Environment, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Sports, etc.
- Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Time and Work, Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple Interest, Time & Distance (Trains/Boats & Streams).
- Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability.
Note:- The standard of Numerical Ability Questions will be of Matriculation level. The standard of questions in other subjects will be of graduation level.
