Download UPSC CAPF Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2022 – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released exam syllabus and pattern for Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2022. UPSC has announced totally 253 vacancies, 66 vacancies for BSF, 29 vacancies in CRPF, 62 for CISF, 14 for ITBP and 82 for SSB. UPSC has announced exam date for this CAPF (AC) Exam 2022. As per the announcement, the exam will be held on 07.08.2022. Keep check this site for upcoming UPSC CAPF Examination Notifications. The Examination consists of two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 will be held in Morning Session (10AM – 12 PM) and Paper-2 (2PM – 5PM) will be held in Evening Session on the same date. - Paper-1
- General Mental Ability – Logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude including numerical ability and data interpretation.
- General Science – General awareness, scientific temper, comprehension and appreciation of scientific phenomena of everyday observation including new areas of importance like Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science.
- Current Events of National and International Importance – Awareness of current events of national and international importance in the broad areas of culture, music, arts, literature, sports, governance, societal and developmental issues, industry, business, globalisation, and interplay among nations.
- Indian Polity and Economy – Knowledge of the Country’s political system and the Constitution of India, social systems and public administration, economic development in India, regional and international security issues and human rights including its indicators.
- History of India – Social, economic and political aspects, areas of growth of nationalism and freedom movement.
- Indian and World Geography – Physical, social and economic aspects of geography pertaining to India and the World.
- Paper-2
- Paper-A
- Modern Indian history especially of the freedom struggle, geography, polity and economy, knowledge of security and human rights issues, and analytical ability.
- Paper-B
- Comprehension passages, précis writing, developing counter arguments, simple grammar and other aspects of language testing.
